Accessibility at NuBare
We want every body that lands here to feel held — including with how this site is built. We design and develop NuBare to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we do
- Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI elements.
- Keyboard navigation across every interactive element — size selection, sticky cart, modals, form fields.
- Visible focus rings on every focusable element.
- Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and screen-reader-friendly form inputs.
- Captions burned into every product video.
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting — all motion can be disabled at the OS level. - Forms that announce errors to assistive tech.
Where we’re still working
Accessibility is a practice, not a checkbox. If something on this site is hard to read, hard to use, or not announced clearly to your screen reader, please tell us — we want to fix it.
